Working with you

Suzanne understands that your event’s success is your success and there are specific goals you would like to achieve. Prior to conducting a keynote, Suzanne wants to gain insight into your association, not-for-profit or organization.

Suzanne’s commitment:

Pre Event

• She will provide you with a questionnaire that will assist with focusing her keynote, and provide her with some tailored examples that will resonate with your audience.
• She will ensure you feel confident that she will assist you in executing a seamless event
• She will tailor her presentation to your audience and overall event objectives.

During Event

• Arrive early enough to do a sound check that is not disruptive to the event
• Arrive a minimum of an hour and a half prior to speaking. If the event is a conference, she will often arrive the day before, or in plenty of time to meet the audience and hear previous speakers in order to incorporate major themes.
• Stay after the talk to answer any further questions
• Make contact information available for further discussion
• Give a high-energy presentation that challenges thinking, while respecting your cultural uniqueness.
• Stay within your schedule.

Post Event

• Provide a summary of key points in the talk or provide additional tools to assist with the implementation of key points.
• Provide opportunity to opt-in to one of the several resources provided by the Ignite Excellence group of initiatives.

Availability – Please let us know the date of your event, and we would be happy check our availability. If we however, feel we are not the right fit, or we are not available, Suzanne is a member of the Global Speakers Federation and Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and she would be happy to recommend a suitable fit.

Your Fit – Suzanne prides herself in giving you her best every time. Suzanne is happy to discuss what your objectives and expectations are for your event and the speaker. As she has an extensive background in sales and training sales leaders, she is now concentrating her efforts on ‘pushing the edge’ to personal and professional potential. Her primary goal is to make sure she is a fit for you. Her secondary goal is making sure you are a fit for her, meaning Suzanne wants to ensure her style and message will achieve your objectives. Suzanne has a discussion with you so together you can evaluate if one of her four keynotes will fit with your association, not-for-profit or corporate mandate.

Fee – Suzanne has presently donating most of the year to raise funds for the Ignite Excellence Foundation, a foundation focused on investing, inspiring and developing women leaders in developing countries. In 2011 and 2012 she will be spending much of her time in Africa raising funds, providing leadership development and scholarships. With this in mind all pro-bono work is quite limited, as funding for these initiatives needs to continue.

As a professional speaker, Suzanne has always maintained her fee and only will consider deviation from that fee if there is a diverse audience where there is a huge marketing impact or if it is to an audience that is in line with the foundation mandate. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your event.
