Vision

In 2007, Suzanne F. Stevens founded the Ignite Excellence Foundation (www.igniteexcellencefoudation.org), its mission is leadership, advocacy and education; the vision is to invest, inspire and develop women leaders in emerging countries. Amongst many contributions the primary focus is providing tertiary education scholarships to perspective women leaders.

In line with the Ignite Excellence Foundation vision, Wisdom Exchange TV was created.  Suzanne and her husband, Michael K. Gingerich, founded Wisdom Exchange TV in 2011 and traveled through Africa uninterrupted for two years. They have recently returned from backpacking through Africa interviewing women leaders for Wisdom Exchange TV (www.wisdomexchangetv.com). This initiative is self-funded and is an investment in future women leaders. Suzanne is the host and co-producer of the first African focused web-enable platform to educate, cultivate and inspire future African women leaders. To date, Suzanne as interviewed 63 African women pioneers and Wisdom Exchange TV is being watched in 77 countries and growing.

Suzanne and Mike are continuing to interview African pioneer Leading Ladies as they are committed to this platform and investing in the change agents of Africa – women.

Empowering Women in Africa

Wisdom Exchange TV is a resource to help African women to learn, lead and succeed in life, business, and community.  It is a forum where women of all disciplines will be inspired from the achievements of African women in business, education, philanthropy and politics. These are the women that are the Change Agents of our communities, countries and continent. They will inspire us to stretch our vision of what we can do, and what WE can be. New interviews and Expert Perspective blogs will be updated regularly with the insights of the women leaders of today for tomorrow.

Wisdom Exchange TV’s mission is to invest, inspire and develop the Africa women leaders of today for tomorrow.  If more women obtain a higher education, it will have a positive rippling effect to the family, businesses and communities.

Investing in women’s education is a way to circumventing the social injustices done toward women and children while appreciating their impact on community, country and continent.

Working Together to Expand Possibilities

Wisdom Exchange TV not only shares African women’s strategies, tactics and leadership lessons, but it is an opportunity for people outside the continent to see the realm of investment, business and leadership possibilities that exist in Africa. Africa is a place of strength, and although each country is unique, each country has unique possibilities.

Suzanne F. Stevens, creator and co-producer brings an interesting perspective to her role as the Host of Wisdom Exchange TV. She draws from her diverse business background, international travels, and her genuine deep interest in understanding another person’s journey, perspective and achievements. Most importantly Suzanne draws the knowledge out of the pioneering African women to act as mentors to peers and future women leaders.

Suzanne is committed to providing a platform for women leaders in emerging countries to educate, cultivate and celebrate future leaders. Women will hear the inspiration, motivation, and aspiration of their fellow citizens.
